React engineer to embed with our booking platform team (3-month contract)

Bookings for outdoor guides - climbing, kayaking, backcountry skiing - is what we do, and the calendar and availability screens are the heart of the product. Two of our four frontend engineers are going on parental leave within a month of each other, so we need a contractor who can pick up tickets from the first week and not need hand-holding by the third. The codebase is React with TypeScript, GraphQL via Apollo Client, and a component library we maintain ourselves. Your work will mostly be feature tickets on the guide-facing scheduling views plus a backlog of accessibility fixes we have been putting off. No greenfield, no rewrites - this is disciplined work inside an existing system with existing conventions. Daily standup at 9:30 Pacific, otherwise meetings are rare. We review PRs within hours, not days, and expect the same energy back.
