Part-time product designer for early-stage HR startup (ongoing)

Looking for a designer who wants to be the design brain of a five-person team, not a pixel factory. We are building scheduling software for hourly workforces (restaurants, clinics, warehouses) and just closed a pre-seed round. There is no design team - there is you, a founder who used to be a PM, and three engineers who ship fast. Week to week you would own whatever is next on the roadmap: new feature flows, iterating on the shift-swap experience our beta users keep complaining about, occasional user calls to sanity-check direction, and keeping our rough Figma library from descending into chaos. Expect roughly 15-20 hours a week with flexibility on when you work them. We care about judgment more than polish at this stage. If you need a finished spec to start working, this will frustrate you; if you like ambiguity and shipping something testable by Friday, we will get along.
