React Native Performance Sprint: Fix Jank and Slow Cold Start in Live App

Our grocery delivery app (about 40k MAU, React Native 0.73) has developed noticeable jank: the product catalog drops frames on mid-range Android devices and cold start takes 6+ seconds. We've profiled enough to suspect over-rendering in our list screens and a bloated startup bundle, but we need someone who has fixed this exact class of problem before. You would spend roughly three weeks profiling, fixing, and documenting. Concrete targets: cold start under 3 seconds on a Pixel 6a, 60fps scrolling on the catalog screen, and a written summary of the changes so our two in-house devs can keep it fast. The codebase is TypeScript with a GraphQL API via Apollo. Async-first team, everything in Linear and Slack, one 30-minute sync per week. Timezone flexible.
