Flutter MVP for Neighborhood Tool-Lending Marketplace

Two of us are bootstrapping a peer-to-peer tool lending app - borrow a pressure washer from someone three blocks away, with deposits held in escrow. We validated demand through a Facebook-group pilot (400 members, about 60 loans a month coordinated by hand) and now need a real product. MVP scope: listings with photos, search by distance, a request/approve flow, in-app chat, and deposits via Stripe with manual release. Clickable Figma prototypes exist for every screen. Backend can be Firebase or a thin Node.js API - your call, we will defer to your judgment. Honest expectations: the budget is tight, the timeline is not. We'd rather you take eight relaxed weeks than five crunchy ones.
