Not quite worth it
We slept well: the room is dark, cool and quiet after ten.
The bathroom light is on a motion sensor and comes on if you turn over in bed. The air conditioning rattled on the first night; maintenance swapped a part the next morning.

Clean and central, not much else
Clean bed linen, clean towels, clean floors. That is the main thing. Practical base near the offices, and the checkout was quick at seven in the morning.
Scaffolding went up on the building opposite halfway through our stay.

Handy for Kazimierz
Shuttle runs often enough that we never checked the timetable twice. Late nights out and nobody once tutted at us coming in at three.
Shower pressure drops off when the floor is busy at about eight. No kettle in the room, which for a British guest is practically a design flaw.

Better options in Zwierzyniec
Someone has planted herbs in pots by the door and you are clearly meant to use them. Worked well for a group of us, with somewhere to sit together in the evening.
The mattress dips in the middle, which after four nights you notice.

Good from check-in onwards
We were at Wieliczka Salt Mine in twenty-five minutes on foot, which changed how we used the days. For what we paid in November, this was the best value stay of the trip by a distance. Free weights and two treadmills that are not held together with tape.
The shower door leaks a little onto the bathroom floor.

Average stay in a good spot
Plenty of places to eat within a short walk, most of them reasonably priced. Reasonably peaceful at the back of the building. Nobody blinked at a table for one, which is not true everywhere.
The Superior Twin Room is smaller than the photographs suggest - two open cases will not fit on the floor. Roadworks on the corner from eight on the Friday, and nobody had warned me.
