Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and no card is required to begin. The trial never converts silently: when it ends, your subscription simply stops unless you activate it by adding a card in your portal. You keep full access to the plan's features for the whole 14 days.
Upgrades are prorated by the day: we credit the unused days of your current plan, charge the same days at the new plan's rate, and you pay only the difference today — your renewal date does not move. Downgrades are scheduled instead: nothing is charged now, and the cheaper plan takes effect at your next renewal. You can undo a scheduled downgrade any time before it applies.
If the renewal charge fails we retry automatically after 1 day, 3 days and 7 days. You keep full access during the retries, and you can settle the outstanding invoice from your portal at any point. Only after the 4th failed attempt is the subscription canceled — and the uncollected invoice is written off, so you owe nothing.
Cancel anytime, self-serve, in two clicks from your portal. By default the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for, so you keep access until then. You can also cancel immediately. There are no partial-period refunds — the paid-through date is the deal, stated up front.
